In 2021, Sovereign Gold Company Limited underwent a name change to Critical Resources Limited (ASX:CRR). At the time this research was conducted, Sovereign Gold was an active gold exploration company with its principle assets located in northern NSW, near Armidale. The company recently entered into a JV agreement with a Chinese state owned company which will provide up to A$21m of exploration funding and significant technical capabilities to earn 30% in 10 licences.
